The home and season opener was a tough one for the Redmen when the Petoskey Northmen came to town, winning by a score of 55-10. Sophomore quarterback Owen Jordan played hard but the Petoskey defense was too tough, keying on the running of Tony Kroncich and Ben Hastings. Dan Menze scored the first the first goal of the game, a field goal 2 seconds before the end of the half.
Marquette next hosts the Soo on Friday night. The action begins around 7:30 and you can hear it all on FOX 103.3 WFXD.
