The Redettes opened up a lead early on against the St. Ignace Saints at the Petoskey Invitational and headed into the half with a score of 33-20. The Saints came out strong in the second half and cut Marquette’s lead down to ten but weren’t able to get any closer, resulting in a final 69-59 victory for the Redettes. Marquette outscored St. Ignace in all but the fourth quarter.
