MLB – The Tigers Are Swept In Tampa – Go To Minnesota Next

Posted on April 21, 2017 in Professional Sports News.

The Tigers lost their third in a row.

They got hammered by the Tampa Bay Rays, 8 to 1, in yesterday’s finale of that three-game series in Florida.

Left-hander Daniel Norris takes the loss, after he was rocked for five runs and eight hits in just four-plus innings of work.

The Tigers travel to Minnesota to take on the Twins in a three-game weekend series.

Justin Verlander will start tonight.

The Twins will send out Hector Santiago.

The first pitch is scheduled for 8:10.
