MLB – The Tigers Lose Second Walk-off In A Row

Posted on May 8, 2017 in Professional Sports News.

The A’s rallied against Tigers closer Fransisco Rodriguez for their second walk-off celebration in as many days Sunday, capped by Ryon Healy’s homerun in an 8-6 series-winning victory.

Detroit erased two deficits in the game, getting a two-run homerun from James McCann, in one of those rallies, in the sixth inning to put them ahead, 6-5.

The Tigers have a scheduled off-day today before opening a two-game series at Arizona in their first interleague action of the year.

Justin Verlander will start for the Tigers and the Diamondbacks will send Robbie Ray to the mound.

Game time tomorrow is set for 9:40.
