MLB – The Tigers Shut Out The Angels

Posted on June 8, 2017 in Professional Sports News.

Buck Farmer and two relievers combined on a three-hitter last night and the Tigers shut out the Los Angeles Angels, 4 to 0, in game #2 of that three-game series.

Farmer pitched 6 and 2/3 innings, giving up no runs on 3 hits while striking out 5 and walking 1.

Alex Wilson and Justin Wilson finished up without either giving up a hit.

Justin Upton went 2 for 4 and blasted a three-run home run in the 8th inning to seal the deal in the win.

The final game of the series is this afternoon.

JC Rameriz will start for the Angels and the Tigers will send Michael Fulmer to the mound.

The first pitch is scheduled for 1:10.
