MLB – The Tigers Salvage A Game In Series With Red Sox

The Tigers ended a three-game losing streak with an 8 to 3 win over the Red Sox in last night’s finale of that weekend series in Boston.

Left-fielder Justin Upton delivered the game’s biggest hit, a grand slam in the top of the 5th inning, that gave the Tigers the lead for good.

Daniel Norris was the starting pitcher and the winner for the Tigers.

He went 5 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits,while striking out 6 and walking 3.


The Tigers are off today.

They return to Comerica Park tomorrow to start a six game home stand.
