NBA – Westbrook Named MVP – Green Named DPOY

After breaking Oscar Robertson’s record for the most triple-doubles in a single season, Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook was named the winner of the NBA Most Valuable Player Award last night.

Also earning an award last night: the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green, who was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

The former Michigan State standout averaged 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks a game for the Warriors during their title run this post-season.
