It was a victorious opening night for the girls Ishpeming Hematites tonight as they took on the Superior Central Cougars in Ishpeming.
The Hematites overcame a full court press in the first half of the game to go up 14-7 by the end of the first quarter and by the half 26-19. From there the Hematites never looked back for the rest of the game.
The girls team take on the Manistique Emeralds on Monday, December 6th in Manistique. Pregame will be 7pm and tip off will be at 7:30PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
