NFL – The Lions Lose And The Packers Lose And Lose Rodgers

Posted on October 16, 2017 in Professional Sports News.

It’s now three losses in the last four games for the Detroit Lions, after they lost a wild one in New Orleans yesterday, 52 to 38.

Detroit was down 45 to 10, midway through the third quarter before scoring 28 straight points to close to within 7 late in the fourth quarter.

That comeback ultimately fell short though.

It was a rough game for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

He was sacked 5 more times yesterday.

That’s now a total of 17 times that Stafford has been sacked in the last three games.

The Lions have their bye this weekend.

The Green Bay Packers have lost Aaron Rodgers for the foreseeable future with a broken collarbone.

Without Rodgers for most of the game the Packers lost to the Minnesota Vikings 23 to 10.

The Packers host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
