Mother Nature continues to wreck havoc with the Detroit Tigers schedule.
Yesterday’s doubleheader against the New York Yankees was postponed because of the nasty weather that gripped the metro Detroit area.
Those games will be made up as a day – night doubleheader on June 4th at Comerica Park.
The Tigers weren’t the only team affected by the weather.
Four other games were postponed yesterday.
After struggling with cold and rainy conditions in the first few weeks of the season, Major League Baseball officials are reportedly looking at ways to limit those weather-related postponements in future years..
