The Negaunee Miners defeated the Munising Mustangs Tuesday night by a score of 47-36. The Munising girls were down early and struggling with the score at the end of the first quarter just 14-2. It proved to be a true offensive struggle for the Mustangs throughout most of the night, with a notably low shooting percentage. It was obvious they were really hussling and putting forth a great deal of effort, but the ball just wasn’t sinking for the Mustangs. Although coming within just one point at one time, the Mustangs could not quite overtake the Miners. This marks a conference victory for Negaunee.
