After a win against the Emeralds last week, the lady Hematites were hoping to build some momentum in the season going into Negaunee facing the lady Miners
The Hematites had a shooting touch all night as they shot for 70 percent in the first quarter to go up 15-8 and 28-18 by the end of the half.
Overall shooting for 50 percent the team was able to fend off a charge from the Miners in the second half of the game.
The Hematite girls next take on the Westwood Patriots on Thursday, January 27st in Ishpeming. Pregame will be 7 pm and tip off will be at 7:30 PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
