The Miner girls took on the Eskymos of Escanaba on Wednesday night. Negaunee got started on a good note winning the first two quarters 19 to 12. In the second half the Escanaba defense stepped up to the Miners tying the game late in the fourth to send the game into over time. After a second over-time the Eskymos came out on top 47 to 46.
