The Ishpeming Hematites were hoping to get revenge against the Westwood Patriots when they lost to them earlier in the season. Also Ishpeming’s Mallory Pruett broke the record for the most points by any Ishpeming Hematite player in school history.
The Hematites lead 29-17 at half on the strength of very few turnovers. They were able to keep that lead for the rest of the game for a final of 51-41.
The Hematite girls next take on the Gwinn Modeltowners on Saturday, February 5th in Ishpeming. Pregame will be 7 pm and tip off will be at 7:30 PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
