The Negaunee Miners boys tonight went to Westwood to take on a surprisingly tough boys Patriots team that gave the Miners a good scare in an even game that took two overtimes to find a winner.
The Patriots actually led after the first half 18-17 but the two teams kept even with a set of runs throughout the second half to find them tied at regulation 36-36. After being tied after the first overtime, the Miners were able to pull away with a good lead for the win.
The Miner boys next take on the on Ishpeming Hematites Friday, February 11th in Negaunee. Pregame will be 7:15 pm and tip off will be at 7:45 PM right here on Sunny 101.9 FM.
