The Negaunee Miner boys took on the Ishpeming Hemitites on Friday night coming out on top by a final score of 61 to 50. Negaunee battled their way through the first and second quarters winning the first half by a score of 30 to 22. The second half brought a push from the Ishpeming defense but they could not match the baskets put up by the Miners.
