The Westwood Patriots hosted the Manistique Emeralds in Mid-Pen Girls Basketball action Tuesday night. Manistique fouled early and Westwood took advantage as the Lady Patriots slowly pulled ahead to lead 13-7 at the end of the 1st quarter.
Manistique fought Westwood hard through the 2nd quarter to pull to within three at the 3 minute mark, but the Patriots hit for 9 unanswered points in the next 90 seconds to lead 26-17 with a minute left in the half and headed to the locker room up 26-19.

Joe Duckworth is back on the mic Thursday night as the Westwood Patriots host the Norway Knights in Boys action; Pregame at 7:20p, with tip off approximately 7:45pm.
Then Friday night, it’s Girls Basketball as Westwood hosts the Lady Miners of Negaunee; Pregame at 7pm and Tip-off at 7:30pm.
Saturday, more Boys basketball action as the Patriots travel to Gwinn to take on the Modeltowners. Joe Duckworth brings you the call, with Pregame at 2:30pm and Tip-off around 3pm.
