For the final regular season game, the girls Ishpeming Hematites hosted the Negaunee Miners hoping to end the season with a win.
The first half of the game the two teams played evenly to a half score of 25-23 with Negaunee ahead. But in the 3rd quarter the Hematites were able to start pulling away to a ten point lead which they were able use to hold onto to get the win.
The Hematite girls finished 12-8 for the season and next play in the district tournament in Westwood against the Westwood Patriots on Wednesday, March 2nd. Pregame will be 5:30PM and tip off will be at 6PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
