For the first time in years, the Chevy driven on the tracks of the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit will look a lot like the Chevy available in dealer showrooms.

The automaker unveiled the 2013 Chevrolet SS race car yesterday, which will debut in February at the Daytona International Speedway.

Chevy’s vice president for motor sports and performance cars, Jim Campbell, says the SS is the first rear-wheel drive sports sedan made by Chevrolet in “many years.”
