The Bulls defeated the top-seeded Miami Heat 93-86.
Chicago was without guards Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich and forward Luol Deng, but outscored Miami 35-24 in the final quarter to take the win in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The Spurs were down by 16 with under four minutes to play but stormed back to steal a 129-127 win in double-overtime over the Golden State Warriors.
Manu Ginobili hit the game-winning three-pointer with just over a second left in the second extra session of the Western Conference semifinals.
