The Detroit Red Wings Play the Anaheim Ducks Tonight – Senators and Blackhawks Advance

The Detroit Red Wings host the Anaheim Ducks in Game Six of the Western Conference quarterfinals tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

Anaheim leads the series three games to two after a 3-2 overtime win at the Honda Center on Wednesday.

Justin Abdelkader will return to the lineup for the Wings after serving a two game suspension for a hit on Duck defenseman Toni Lydman in Game Three last Saturday.


The Ottawa Senators and Chicago Blackhawks have advanced to the second round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Senators beat the second-seeded Montreal Canadiens 6-1 in Game Five of their Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

The Blackhawks dropped the Minnesota Wild 5-1 to win the series in Game Five.


The Pittsburgh Penguins took a 3-2 advantage against the New York Islanders following a 4-0 shutout.
