The Cleveland Indians Beat The Detroit Tigers On Mother’s Day – Tigers Play Astros Next

Mark Reynolds singled in a run in the top of the 10th inning to give the Cleveland Indians a 4-3 win over the Detroit Tigers yesterday afternoon at Comerica Park.

Darin Downs suffered the loss out of the bullpen.

Brayan Pena hit a two-run homer en route to a 3-for-4 day for Detroit, who has slipped to 20-and-15 with the loss.

The Tigers start a three-game home series with the Astros tonight. First pitch at Comerica Park is 7:08 p.m.

Anibal Sanchez (3-3, 1.97 ERA) will take the mound for Detroit, up against Bud Norris (4-3, 3.40 ERA) of the Astros.


In other games;  it was the Cincinnati Reds 5 and the Milwaukee Brewers 1 and the Chicago Cubs beat the Washington Nationals 2 to 1.
