The Miami Heat And The Memphis Grizzlies Close to Moving On – NBA Playoffs Go Forward

The Heat and Grizzlies have put the Bulls and Thunder on the verge of elimination in the conference semifinal round of the NBA playoffs.

Miami mauled Chicago, 88-65, in the East to take a 3-1 lead.

LeBron James led the way with 27 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, while the Heat held the Bulls to 26-percent shooting from the field.

 

In the West things were a little more interesting. Memphis clipped Oklahoma City, 103-97, in overtime of Game Four to grab a 3-1 lead over the defending Western Conference champions.

Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph and Mike Conley scored 70 of the Grizz 103 points. Both the Grizzlies and Heat will try to close out their respective series’ in Game Five on Wednesday.

 

Today, the second round rolls on with two games.

The Knicks try to avoid falling behind 3-1 to the Pacers in Game Four of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series. Indiana controlled Game Three, pulling out an 82-71 win.

The up-start Warriors attempt to steal Game Five in San Antonio against the Spurs. The west series is all knotted up at two.

Golden State and San Antonio split Games One and Two at the AT&T Center.
