The Detroit Tigers Beat The Minnesota Twins! The Two Teams Play Tonight

The Detroit Tigers rallied to beat the Minnesota Twins 7-6 in the first of a four game series Thursday night at Comerica Park.

Miguel Cabrera hit a two run home run and had three RBIs, while Prince Fielder drove in two runs, including the game winner in the eighth inning.

Rick Porcello gave up five runs on ten hits in five innings, while Joaquin Benoit pitched a scoreless eighth for the win and Jose Valverde was perfect in the ninth for his fifth save of the season.


Tonight, Anibal Sanchez (4-4, 2.77 ERA) gets the start for Detroit, while Samuel Deduno (0-0) starts for Minnesota.
