With the U.S. Open just two weeks away, many of the top players are in this week’s field.
Scott Piercy is alone in second after carding a 6-under 66, while Kyle Stanley, Charlie Wi, Russell Henley and Josh Teater share third after each opened play with a 5-under 67.
Tiger Woods, the defending champion and a five-time winner of Jack Nicklaus’ tournament, finished with a 1-under 71, while Rory McIlroy’s struggles continued today with a 6-over 78.
