Posted on September 3, 2013 in Professional Sports News.

Henrik Stenson won his third career PGA Tournament after claiming first place at the Deutsche Bank Championship outside of Boston by shooting a final round 66, bringing his tournament total to minus-22.

Birdies on the 11th and 17th holes helped the 37-year old Swede hold off American Steve Stricker, who finished second at minus-20.

Canadian Graham DeLaet earned third at minus-18.

Zach Johnson birdied his last hole to wrap up a final-round 66 and a tie for 27th at 10-under, and that allowed him to hold onto the 10th and final automatic qualifying spot for the Presidents Cup.
