College Football – Alabama Still Number One

Alabama remains number-one in this week’s “USA Today” top-25 football poll.

The Crimson Tide received 58 of 62 first-place votes after opening the season with a 35-10 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Ohio State is number-two, followed by Oregon and Stanford.

Clemson moved up from eighth to fifth after upsetting number-five Georgia.

The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 12th.

South Carolina, Texas A&M, Louisville, Florida and Florida State round out the top-10.

The Michigan Wolverines remained at number-17 in the poll, even after their 59-to-9 beating of Central Michigan.

The Michigan State Spartans have yet to crack the Top-25.
