Posted on September 16, 2013 in Professional Sports News.

Aaron Rodgers passed for 480 yards and four touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers beat the Washington Redskins 38 to 20.

James Starks rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown.

He became the first Packers runner to hit the 100-yard mark since Brandon Jackson did it against the Redskins in 2010.

James Jones caught 11 passes for 178 yards, a week after being shut out in San Francisco.

The Packers are at the Bengals next week.

Rashard Mendenhall scored from one-yard out with just under two minutes to play and the Cardinals held on to beat the Detroit Lions 25-21 in Arizona yesterday.

Matthew Stafford threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns for Detroit, which slipped to 1-and-1.

Calvin Johnson had six grabs for 116 yards and both TDs.

DeAndre Levy had a 66-yard interception return for a score for the Lions.

The Lions are at the Redskins on Sunday.
