MLB – Playoffs Begin Tonight!

David Price went the distance in leading the Rays to a 5-2 win over the Rangers in the AL tiebreaker game from Arlington. Price allowed two runs and scattered seven hits to improve to 10-and-8 on the season.

Evan Longoria went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer for Tampa Bay, who will travel to Cleveland to face the Indians in Wednesday’s AL Wild Card Game.

Martin Perez  allowed three runs in five-and-a-third innings to fall to 10-and-6 for Texas.



The 2013 Major League Baseball playoffs get started tonight.

The Pittsburgh Pirates host the Cincinnati Reds in the NL Wild Card game at PNC Park.

Francisco Liriano gets the ball for the Pirates.

The Reds will counter with Johnny Cueto.

The Bucs are in the postseason for the first time in 21 years.


The winner will advance to play the NL Central Division champion St. Louis Cardinals in the NLDS starting Thursday.
