After a four day break, the Detroit Red Wings will be on the ice tonight as they host the Phoenix Coyotes at Joe Louis Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Forward Jordin Tootoo, who has been dealing with a sprained shoulder, has been cleared by team doctors to play, but it’s not known when he will return to the lineup.
Tootoo says he’s maintaining his strength and making sure he’s ready, both mentally and physically.
Detroit heads into tonight’s action with a 2-and-1 record, while Phoenix is 1-and-2 on the season.
