MLB – Tigers Bounce Back And Beat The Boston Red Sox In Game Four Of ALCS

The Detroit Tigers evened up their American League Championship Series with the Boston Red Sox at two games each with a 7-3 win last night at Comerica Park.

Austin Jackson was dropped from first to eighth in the batting order and he responded with two hits, two RBIs and one run scored.

Torii Hunter and Miguel Cabrera each batted in two runs.

Doug Fister allowed one run on eight hits while striking out seven in six innings.

 

In tonight’s Game Five, Anibal Sanchez gets the start for Detroit, while Boston sends Jon Lester to the mound.

First pitch at Comerica Park is 8:00 p.m.

 

The Los Angeles Dodgers survived another day by defeating the St. Louis Cardinals 6-4 in Game Five of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday.

Adrian Gonzalez blasted a pair of homers to help the Dodgers avoid elimination in the best-of-seven NLCS.

The Cardinals host Game Six on Friday up three-games-to-two.
