Posted on October 30, 2013 in Professional Sports News.

The Detroit Pistons open the regular season tonight as they host the Washington Wizards at the Palace.

Tip-off is 7:30 p.m.

This will be Maurice Cheeks coaching debut.

Guard Rodney Stuckey is questionable tonight with a thumb injury which required surgery earlier this month.

Guard Brandon Jennings remains out of the lineup for at least another week after suffering a hairline fracture in his jaw due to an impacted wisdom tooth.

Detroit will head to Memphis for a game Friday night, then return to Auburn Hills to take on Boston, Indiana and Oklahoma City.
