Torii Hunter and J.D. Martinez each hit a homer for Detroit, who lost the final three of the four-game series.
The Tigers welcome in the Dodgers for two games starting tomorrow.
Detroit sends Justin Verlander to the mound against Hyun-Jin Ryu of the Dodgers.
Verlander is 7-and-7 while Ryu comes in at 9-and-4.
Three Tigers are heading to Minnesota for the All-Star Game.
Miguel Cabrera is starting at first base while DH Victor Martinez made it as a reserve.
Starting pitcher Max Scherzer is also going while fellow starter Rick Porcello is part of the final vote in the American League.
