The Cleveland Cavaliers are halfway to pulling off what some consider to be an upset.
Cleveland defeated the Warriors 96-91 in Game Three of the NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena to take a 2-1 lead behind another huge effort from LeBron James.
James posted 40 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists and four steals as the Cavs held off a furious Golden State fourth-quarter rally.
The four-time MVP is averaging 41 points, 12 rebounds and 8.3 assists in the series.
Matthew Dellavedova chipped in 20 points, five boards and four assists in the victory.
The Warriors shot 40-percent from the field and had only 55 points through three quarters.
In the fourth, Golden State outscored the Cavaliers 36-24, with Steph Curry hitting five three-pointers and scoring 17 points.
Curry finished with 27 points, six boards and six helpers. Game Four is in Cleveland on Thursday.
