The Detroit Tigers three-game winning streak came to an end last night with a 12-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs at Comerica Park.
Starter Shane Greene was charged with the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits in just three innings of work.
Yoenis Cespedes drove in all of Detroit’s runs with a three run homer in the sixth.
The Tigers have today off, but return to action tomorrow as they host the Cleveland Indians for a weekend series.
David Price will start for Detroit in the opener, while Cleveland will send Danny Salazar to the mound.
