The second major of the PGA season tees off this morning with first-round play at the U.S. Open.
This year’s event takes place at Chambers Bay Golf Course near Seattle.
Defending champion Martin Kaymer will play with world number-one Rory McIlroy and U.S. Amateur champ Gunn Yang for the first two rounds.
McIlroy is trying to join Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players to win five majors before the age of 27.
Reigning Masters champion Jordan Spieth looks to become the first player to win both the Masters and U.S. Open in the same year since Woods turned the trick in 2002.
Six-time runner-up Phil Mickelson will play alongside 2007 winner Ange Cabrera and two-time Masters champ Bubba Watson.
Woods, a three-time winner, is paired with Rickie Fowler and 2010 Open champion Louis Oosthuizen for the first two rounds.
