Reliever Blaine Hardy picked up the win by not allowing any hits and striking out one in two innings of work.
With the win, their second straight, the Tigers improved to 36-and-34.
David Price is slated to take the mound for Detroit in tonight’s game-two, up against Danny Salazar of the Indians.
