The New York Mets are back in the National League Championship Series for the first time since 2006.
The Mets held on for a 3-2 win over the Dodgers in the decisive Game Five of their NL Division Series Thursday night in Los Angeles.
Daniel Murphy hit a tie-breaking solo homerun in the sixth inning for New York, who will clash with the Chicago Cubs for the right to advance to the World Series.
Game One in the best-of-seven series is Saturday at Citi Field.
