Daniel Murphy drilled a two-run homer as the Mets cut down the Chicago Cubs, 4-1, in Game Two Sunday night.
Murphy has homered in four straight playoff games.
Cy Young hopeful Jake Arrieta (air-ee-ET-uh) took the loss for Chicago, who will host Game Three of the best-of-seven series Tuesday night.
The Cubs will also host Game Four and, if necessary, Game Five.
The American League Championship Series shifts to Toronto as the Kansas City Royals clash with the Blue Jays Monday night.
The Royals erased a 3-0 deficit and rallied for a 6-3 win in Game Two on Saturday.
Kansas City scored five times in the seventh to grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Johnny Cueto will be on the mound for the Royals.
Toronto will counter with Marcus Stroman.
First-pitch is at 8:07 p.m. Eastern.
