Reggie Jackson scored a game-high 31 points to help the Pistons hold off the Rockets 116-105 at The Palace Monday night.
Andre Drummond added 24 points and 13 rebounds, but missed ten free throws in the third quarter to get the Rockets back in the game.
Rookie Stanley Johnson had his best game as a Pistons as he contributed 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Detroit snapped a two-game skid and got back to .500 on the year at 9-and-9.
James Harden piled up 29 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, but couldn’t bring Houston back from a 23-point halftime deficit.
The Rockets have lost four of their last six games and fell to 7-and-11.
The Pistons host the Phoenix Suns tomorrow night.
