MLB – The Tigers Wrap Up The Road Trip With A Nice Win

Posted on June 2, 2016 in Professional Sports News.

The Tigers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3 – 0 win over the Los Angeles Angels in last night’s finale of that three-game series in Anaheim.

It was a very good outing for starter Michael Fulmer.

He got the win, after taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning and holding the Angels to just twohits overall, while striking out 8 over seven-and-two-third innings.

Jose Iglesias scored the first run on a single by Ian Kinsler and that turned out to be the winning run.

The Tigers return to Comerica Park tonight for a make-up game with the New York Yankees.

Matt Boyd will start for the Tigers and Michael Pineda takes the mound for New York.

The Tigers will start a weekend series with the Chicago White Sox tomorrow night.
