Negaunee came up with 3 more runs going into the bottom of the 5th inning. With Negaunee leading 10-9 in the top of the 6th inning, Marquette tied the score and then with bases loaded, a pitch count of 2 balls and 2 strikes and 2 outs, Mike McGee hit a blooper over the shortstops head to give Marquette the go ahead run to win the game 11-10.
