The Cleveland Indians advance to the world series for the first time in 9 years.
They beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 3 to 0, in game #5 of the American League Championship Series.
Indians’ reliever Andrew Miller was named the series’ most valuable player after he struck out 14 hitters in just seven- and-two-third innings.
The Cubs beat the Dodgers 10 to 2 last night to even that series at 2 games apiece.
The series continues tonight in Los Angeles.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:00.
