Houghton, Michigan – Friday, October 12th, 2018 – It was a chilly night in the Keweenaw as the Negaunee Miners took down the Houghton Gremlins 36-16 in the second-to-last game of their regular season. Mark Evans and Gregg Nelson were there at the brand-new Alumni Field in Houghton to bring all of the action to 101.9 SunnyFM.

Marquette, MI – October 12, 2018 – The Marquette Redmen battle it out in their penultimate game of the regular season at home against the Gladstone Braves. The Redmen need to win their next two games in order to solidify a play-off bid this year.

The Redmen began the first quarter with possession and worked their way down the field. A penalty set them back, and Gladstone knocked away the next pass to take over early.

The Marquette Redmen Shoulder a Loss on the Road to Lakeland Union Thunderbirds

Marquette, MI – October 5, 2018 – The Marquette Redmen were on the road against the Lakeland Union Thunderbirds. The Redmen played in some cold, misty conditions and searched for a win to bolster their chances at a 2018 play-off bid.
