Marquette, MI – May 13th, 2019 – It was finally feeling like spring when the Marquette Redmen and the Kingsford Flivers met on the baseball field. Marquette was coming off of a nice win over the Miners, but the Flivers had their eyes set on revenge from their first meeting of the year where Marquette took the win.

Two Both the Boys Baseball and Girls Softball teams were scheduled to play. Due to the pour weather conditions, games for both teams have been cancelled.
The Superior Central Cougars Baseball team will make up their game against the Park River-Harris Broncos on Friday, May 24th.
There is current no information about a makeup date for the Superior Central Cougars softball game.

Negaunee, MI – May 7th, 2019 – The Negaunee Miners Girls Softball team returned to action on Tuesday afternoon, where they hosted the Calumet Copper Kings! Mark Evans and Gregg Nelson had the call from LaCombe Field on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9FM.

Marquette, MI – May 6th, 2019 – It was time for the first cross-county battle between the Marquette Redmen baseball team and the Negaunee Miners on Monday night, and both teams were looking at taking home the win. The breeze off of Lake Superior was chilly, but that didn’t seem to bother either team as they took the field for the first inning.
