Petoskey, MI – September 6, 2019 – Marquette opened on a header goal from Trevor Salmon (senior) which was assisted by Lewis Goff (junior). Connor Johnson (junior) made it 2-0 for Marquette off a Salmon assist. Petoskey scored before the half making it 2-1 at half time. Petoskey tied it before Salmon scored again off an assist from Zane Phillips (sophmore) making it 3-2.
Petoskey again tied it before Max Dawson (freshman) put in the game winner off an assist from Joe Lagrou (senior) with 7 minutes remaining in the game. Marquette improves to 3-3 on the season and face Traverse City Central on Saturday.
Sophomore Harrison Anthos stopped 9 of 12 shots in net.
