Phil Kessel’s goal at the 13:05 mark of the third period propelled the Pittsburgh Penguins to a
1 – 0 win over the Ottawa Senators in game #2 of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals.
With that win, the Penguins have tied up that series at a game apiece.
The Boston Celtics advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals following a 115 to 105 win over the
Washington Wizards in last night’s seventh and final game of that second round playoff series.
Center Kelly Olynyk had 26 points in just 28 minutes off the bench to lead Boston to the victory.
The Celtics will now meet the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Conference Finals.
Game #1 of that best-of-seven series will take place tomorrow night in Boston.
