MLB – The Detroit Tigers Take Another Loss

The Detroit Tigers lost to the Texas Rangers 6 to 2 in last night’s opener of a three game series in Arlington last night.

Michael Fulmer was the starter and loser for the Tigers.

He went 5 innings, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits, striking out 2 and walking 3.

Justin Upton hit a two-run home run in the first inning to account for Detroit’s only runs.

Manager Brad Ausmus was ejected in the fifth inning along with second baseman Ian Kinsler for arguing balls and strikes.


The series continues tonight in Texas.

Justin Verlander goes to the mound for the Tigers and A.J. Griffin will start for the Rangers.

The first pitch is scheduled for 8:05.
