MLB – The Detroit Tigers Get A win From The Los Angeles Dodgers

Miguel Cabrera and Justin Upton combined to drive in four runs and the Detroit Tigers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6 to 1 yesterday at Comerica Park.

Justin Verlander was the starting pitcher for the tigers and he was stellar.

Verlander went 8 innings, giving up 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 9 and walking 1.

Justin Upton hit his 26^th home run, a two-run shot in the 6^th inning.

Miguel Cabrera was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.

 

The Tigers have today off.

Tomorrow they start a three game home series with the New York Yankees.
