MLB – The Detroit Tigers Are Shut Out

The Detroit Tigers were shutout 1 to 0 for the second time in this young season.

This time it was to the Kansas City Royals.

Jacob Junis got the start and the win for Kansas City.

He gave up no runs on 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 3.

Matt Boyd started for the Tigers and he had a real good start.

Boyd went 6 innings, giving up one run on 4 hits while striking out 1 and walking none.

The series wraps up today with a day game at Comerica Park.

Daniel Norris will start for the Tigers and Danny Duffy goes to the mound for Kansas City.

The first pitch is scheduled for 1:10.
